Nifty weather display for Macs

Posted on 07 February 2005

Someone was recently complaining that there was no Mac equivalent to the program Weather Bug, which sits in the Windows taskbar and displays the temperature and an icon for current weather conditions in a city of your choosing — and links to a lot of ads when you click for more details, yuck.

Anyway, all I can say now is : Ha. Thanks to this list of software recommendations, I have found freeware and ad-FREE Meteorologist, which does much the same thing in highly configurable ways. Choose multiple cities and switch between them on a drop-down list. Decide how much info to display in the menu bar (lunar phases, we got lunar phases). Oh yes, Wyoming.
