Calling all comparers – time for virtual showdown

Posted on 12 June 2007

Software developer Paul Lefebvre has a tidy comparison up on his blog between VMware’s Fusion and competitor Parallels Desktop. Both products let owners of Intel-based Macs run other operating systems like Windows XP or Linux. I’ve been messing around with Fusion for a few months now and it’s very impressive. One cool feature absent from Parallels is the availability of loads of pre-made and downloadable virtual environments. But Lefebvre uses the two products differently and didn’t do a full and fair death match. Hopefully there will be more from around the web on this soon.
