I was checking out a post over on CNet’s techno trends blog and I came across an item about the cheap-o digital video camera called simply The Flip. It reminded me to rave about ours, which my wife ordered a few weeks ago from Amazon for $150.
This tiny cam runs on a pair of double-A batteries, is small enough to go anywhere you go and even has its own video editing software built-in that automatically loads on a Mac or Windows PC when you connect up to a USB port. Very cool. The video quality is just pretty good (for up to an hour of recording time) and the sound quality perhaps a bit worse than that. But it’s so convenient and easy to use. Four out of five stars.
And a new model is coming soon, or at least that’s what CNet is hearing.
